I'll be honest for once... I used to cut... My junior year in high school... Sometimes the thought comes across my mind, but I haven't for a long time.

Day 261; September 29th, 2011: So tired

 I'm so tired... but I need to get up and stretch and get ready for rehearsal.

Don't you love when you can tell your hip needs to pop but wont, then the next day you decide to stretch and your body just has a hayday with popping? lol

Day 260; September 28th, 2011: I feel pretty, oh so pretty

 So today is the first day I've actually felt pretty, which is awesome because today we're doing pictures for the program that will be handed out at the performances.
I took Sophie some tea and ran some errands. I did grab some Panda Express so it'll hold me over through rehearsal. I can say eating Panda is still odd to eat without my Vegas people.

 I'm also taking Sophie some tea at rehearsal 'cause I don't want her to get sick.
What are friends for.

Day 259; September 27th, 2011: I should finally update some people back home since they aren't understanding

I guess I should finally update some people back home since they aren't understanding: I am part of the chorus in a play. Yes, I am in a play, not just a dance recital. The play is Cabaret. End of story and sorry to those I didn't tell and keep texting/calling while I'm at rehearsal... I try to text during breaks, but other than that, rehearsals tend to go pretty late.

Day 258; September 26th, 2011: I'm even on facebook while sitting like this.

I must be a dancer. I'm awkwardly stretching my hamstrings against a wall while also working on making my second position while sitting better. This sounds uncomfortable, and is supposed to be uncomfortable, but I am perfectly fine like this and have been sitting like this for about... er... 15 minutes.

Heck, I'm even on facebook while sitting like this. lol.

I haven't worn my pro-taps for a bit, I guess bloody heels is the price I pay. Flipflops and boots are the way to go for a bit.

 

 

 

Now I need to go for a walk and clear my head...

Day 257; September 25th, 2011: All in all, it was a good day.

So today was a rainy day... and I went to watch Mat in his football game after I was done with work. It is cold and kinda sucked but oh well.

Work today was pretty good, nothing special other than the fact that I was almost late.

After Mat's team lost and we were all drenched from the rain, Mat and I went home and Sophie, Patrick and Will came over for pizza and movies.

All in all, it was a good day.

Day 256; September 24th, 2011: Score?

So the day is playing out like this: work from 11 to 4:30ish, walked down to Borders, which is where Sophie agreed to pick me up and drive me to rehearsal, then went to rehearsal that started at 6 and ended when it ended.

Work today was funny, rehearsal was great, and hanging out with Sophie after was awesome! Yay, new friends!
Also, a new neighbor might bring by cookies tomorrow. Can you say score?

So, I know I should be working on my projects, but in my mind I know I can work on them all day tomorrow so I can just relax and enjoy a few conversations before I pass out.

Day 255; September 23rd, 2011: Carly moment

So today while I was getting ready, I threw a pile of clothes on my bed. Then I started to do my make up... and as always my bed ate my phone. So I had to figure out how to find it... I picked up my phone and typed out "hey, I lost my phone to my bed again. Can you help me by calling it like right now?" and then realized...

Day 253; September 21st, 2011: Heading back to base

 So this was my last picture of being at my mom's till Thanksgiving probably.

 I came back to Eugene today, but I left in time to just stop in Cottage Grove for Cabaret rehearsal. I didn't feel like passing Cottage Grove, going to Eugene just to turn back around and drive to Cottage Grove. So planned it all perfectly.

You'd think he was the one who drove from CPT to Cottage Grove and then did 2ish hours of rehearsal. Though while in CG... he did chase birds.

Day 252; September 20th, 2011: Pictures with the mom.

So today my mom and I decided to go out and enjoy the sun, along with me getting some great pictures of her to update her picture collection.
We went to Bear Creek Park, which I love and the sun was perfect. I know its almost fall so I'm trying to enjoy the last of summer. I used to not like summer, but I know that with living in Eugene... I have a looooooooooooong winter ahead.
Then when my mom and I got back home I made an epic playlist for a friend so I can mail her a care package when I get some money.
Its been a fun day.

Day 251; September 19th, 2011: Boring but amazing day.

So all day, Hannah and I have been watching Supernatural. We did meet up with mom and Mike for lunch, but then proptly got back to my dad's to continue our binge of Sam and Dean Winchester. I also got to take some of Hannah's feathers which I'm super thankful for 'cause I love them.
Then I drove Hannah home and now at home myself.

Day 250; September 18th, 2011: Girl day with Hannah and Lion King 3D

Super excited that it is finally today.
Its my much needed girls day with Hannah Bryant.
The plan:
one of our infamous all nighters (where we end up falling asleep but justifying the fact) and major sugar intake.
My mom, Hannah and I went and saw Lion King 3D. It was like reliving childhood! ♥

Having fun... freaking ourselves out.... and downing sugar like there's no tomorrow! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'll be hyper later... as for now... I'm slightly terrified to even be on my computer. >.>

Day 249; September 17th, 2011: That's all.

Sometimes... I just wish people weren't so stupid.

As for the rest of the night, Jackie and I went and kidnapped Ariel. We went to Walmart and tried on silly masks and just had fun. Then we went back to my dad's house. I cleaned out my closet and we all just kinda hung out and talked. It was nice.

Day 248; September 16th, 2011: Whack A Blue Mole?

 7:52AM: Updating my Ipod, filling my car and then hitting the road.

4:54PM: Had a great day with my mom. Got my Halloween costume all bought. ♥ And ate at Olive Garden. I'm thinking I'll top the night off with a fun night at the ballroom.

6:25PM: Carly moment: So the Black and Blue Bowl between North and South is tonight. Well, the news was reporting on it and instead of Black and Blue Bowl game... I heard Whack A Blue Mole game. Hehehehe... I like my version better.

11PM: Its amazing what your brain will think of to do when you can't sleep. But I'm sooo happy I went to the ballroom. It was a lot of fun. And if feels nice to be back in my bed. I love coming home.

Day 247; September 15, 2011: Need new music!

Heeeey Valley! Guess who's coming home tomorrow? Yup, me! But in the meantime, I NEED new music for the trip. If you have any suggestions (any at all, I love all music) please help me out!

Day 245; September 13th, 2011: Did my nails

I woke up... that's all people should ask from me today. Though I did get dressed, did my hair and make up.... but other than that, I just wanted to watch movies.

But my phone has been ringing non-stop today... goodness.

Then when it stopped I got bored so I painted my nails.

Getting up in 5ish hours to get ready for a photoshoot that's happening tomorrow. I guess I'm going to sleep? Night everyone.
(On a side note: Happy 20th, Miss Ariel Huffman. ♥ ya girly!)

Day 244; September 12th, 2011: Rightfully so.

Today... I slept. 

Though there was a period of time that I wanted Oreos and Panda Express.

Day 243; September 11th, 2011: Crazy day.

10 years ago today I can't exactly remember what I was doing. I just remember sitting in Mr. E's class and listening to the radio for most of the day. I remember a lot of kids went home and a lot of people were crying. I was to young to really understand what was going on... then Mr. E explained it.
10 years ago today... I may not remember what I was doing, but I sure remember the impact. 

9:45AM: Running on 4 hours of sleep... but Portland last night was so worth the sleep deprivation I'm going through now. Off to work...

Came home, took Mat to football practice.

3:14PM: Plans for rest of the day: get something cold to drink, shower, turn on fan, turn on movies, sleeeeep till hungry, eat, sleep till hungry, eat and then sleep again. I'm sure I'll answer texts and calls in between but if I don't... I'm quite probably sleeping.

Day 242; September 10th, 2011: Hello Portland... and Brenden.

So Mat and I made it to Portland nice and early so we had some time to explore before his audition (which he did happen to get by the way). We went to the Lloyd Center and just around Portland. Its amazing how much of it I actually remember.

While I was sitting in a coffee shop waiting for Mat to get done with his audition a Special Forces guy came and talk to me. He was really sweet and super cute. His name was Will. We talked for a good while and then Mat showed up, told us about his audition and then we all started talking again since Mat and I had time to kill before we were going to go to the 18+ club. But one of the other people who went to the audition walked into the coffee shop and we started talking to her too. She told us about a better club called The Venue. So now the destination of the night was changed.

After we all departed, Mat and I explored a little more but found our way back over to the Lloyd Center. Then we went and found The Venue. We waited in line for a little bit and then went inside. I danced a lot and Mat got turned down a lot... poor guy.

But by the end of the night, I had my eyes on a cute guy who didn't dance with anyone. While Mat was ready to leave I was working on getting this guy's attention. Once I got it, he asked me to go over to him... of course I did. He introduced himself as Brenden and we danced for about a song and a half before the club closed. We exchanged numbers and that was that.

Now I cheated the time a little on this blog because its technically like 4 in the morning (yes, I do have work with the kids in like six hours) but if I said it was 4 in the morning... they'd count it as tomorrow. So just deal with the 11:59 and be happy.

Day 241; September 9th, 2011: At least now, I wont feel bad for going to Portland tomorrow.

3pm: Half of me wants to go to sleep... the other half knows I want to clean my room and need to organize my closet. So which half will I give into?

5pm: Half the closet is conquered. Now for the other half... then my desk, night stand and tv stand. Phew.

6:30pm: Closet: conquered.

At least now, I wont feel bad for going to Portland tomorrow.

Day 240; September 8th, 2011: What made me think I could do this?

 So I woke up at 6 this morning because silly little me agreed to work this morning. Bleh. Luckily it wasn't too bad, we just ran around and ran some errands. Its just tiring because I had work yesterday as well. So I came home and napped. It was nice.
Mat and I are going to Portland this coming weekend and its going to be CRAZY. I'm kind of excited but rather nervous because we're heading up there Saturday and going to stay to go dancing, but I have work Sunday morning... I might possibly die.

As for today, I don't know what made me think I could do all the things I want to do. I'm not the best dancer, I'm not crazy dedicated...
Though ... really.... I am.
I just need to find that confidence again, I guess... 'cause I lost it some place.

P.S. I'm in the Cabaret show as part of the Ensemble.

Day 239; September 7th, 2011: Not going to lie... I miss girl time with my first best friend.

Not going to lie... I miss girl time with my first best friend.
But I will get that soon enough. 

As for now, I've been on a crazy search for some new music. I'm not sure why but I have been. And I found a new favorite song: Vegas by Sara Bareilles.
Such an amazing song. It'll be stuck in my head the rest of the day.

By the way, this is my new favorite hairstyle.

Today was my first Wednesday back at work. I missed my Wednesday kids. The little one who has a crush on me came up and gave me a hug, it made me smile. We had a water balloon throw, hide and seek, freeze tag, base tag and play dough kinda day.
What can I say, I love my job.
